Friends of ROAM provides need-based scholarships to young music students for private instruction, ensemble “rock band” programs, and summer camps offered through the Rock of Ages (ROAM) music school in Alexandria, Virginia. The excellent instruction provided by the professional musicians at ROAM provides students with life-long skills that have meaningful impacts in the community. The considerable cost of this instruction places these benefits out of reach for many families. With your financial support, we can change the lives and pathways to success for needy children in ways that will have deep and lasting benefits to society.
Your donation will enable a young musician to attend: $43 30-minute private music lesson $60 45-minute private music lesson $80 60-minute private music lesson $172 per month = 4, 30 minute lessons $1000 per semester of Rock School $600 one-week enrollment in Rock School summer camp
