A 20 year resident of Alexandria, Jonathan is active in the community, and currently serves as pro bono counsel and on the boards of The Art League and the Carpenter’s Shelter. He served on the board of Grace Episcopal School for 7 years, and for a decade was a youth group leader at Grace Episcopal Church, where he first encountered ROAM through a number of musically talented Grace Church youth.

His son Tad is a guitarist in several ROAM bands, where he has found his true passion, place and people. Tad is teaching Jonathan that there are infinite categories of heavy metal.

Jonathan has a B.A. in Classics and Political Science from Amherst College, and received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. His music career started and ended with his high school a capella group, the Kentones. He continues to embarrass his children by crooning 80s New Wave and Yacht Rock at every opportunity.
